El Modena: Shooting Injures Man, Suspect(s) Flee

08.06.2021 | 2:09 AM | EL MODENA – A shooting left a man injured and the shooter(s) remain at large, early Friday morning.

The shooting was reported in the 18800 block of East Pearl Avenue around 2:09 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the garage of a home along with several spent shell casings near the street.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Several individuals were detained while deputies investigated the shooting but no suspects were in custody.

Reports from the scene indicated that suspects possibly fled southbound in a vehicle however that information could not be confirmed.
