Costa Mesa: Three-Car Crash Leaves Man Dead

05.09.2021 | 1:54 PM | COSTA MESA – A man was dead after a three-car crash, Sunday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a rollover traffic collision at the intersection of Sunflower Avenue and Bear Street around 1:54 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a crash involving three vehicles including one that had rolled over.

One victim, identified as 53-year-old Arisides Guerra, of Santa Ana, CA, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A police press release initially indicated that the decedent was 54-years-old however that information was later determined to be incorrect.

No other significant injuries were reported, according to police.

The intersection is closed while accident investigators worked the scene.
