04.18.2021 | 1:50 AM | COSTA MESA – Several gunshots were fired inside the Triangle Square parking garage during an altercation, early Sunday morning.
Civilians flagged down a California Highway Patrol officer around 1:50 AM and reported that someone had fired multiple gunshots inside the Triangle Square parking garage located in the 1800 block of Harbor Boulevard.
Additional officers responded to the scene and learned from witnesses that approximately four gunshots were fired during an altercation in the parking structure.
Police took surrounded the building as patrons left but later determined that all involved parties had fled the scene.
No injuries from the shooting were reported.
The suspects were described as two male blacks with dreadlocks wearing all dark clothing, according to preliminary reports. They were last seen driving what a witness described as a “Mercedes-Benz truck.”
Authorities are investigating what led up to the shooting incident.
