02.15.2026 | 3:00 AM | COMPTON – A street takeover erupted near a middle school drawing a large crowd, early Sunday morning.
The takeover broke out at the intersection of South Wilmington Avenue and West Greenleaf Boulevard, near Walton Middle School, around 3:00 AM.
A group of vehicles and multiple spectators descended on the location as drivers performed burnouts and donuts in the intersection.
Sheriff’s deputies eventually responded to the area and dispersed the crowd.
No arrests or injuries were reported.
