09.19.2020 | 1:10 AM | BUENA PARK – A reported shooting prompted a large police presence at an apartment complex and one person was seen in handcuffs, early Saturday morning.
The incident was first reported as a shooting at the Park Landing Apartments, located in the 8800 block of La Palma Avenue, around 1:10 AM.
Officers surrounded the apartment complex and detained one person after making entry into a second-story apartment.
A crime scene surrounding the apartment building was established but it was unclear if anyone was injured or a shooting actually occurred.
Firefighter paramedics were cancelled from the scene by police.
Police did not immediately release any information regarding the incident.
