07.27.2022 | 6:50 PM | BUENA PARK – A man who stabbed a his ex-girlfriend 14 times was arrested in Indiana by federal officials Wednesday, police said.
Gerber Efrain Canizalez-Estrada, 40, was arrested in Indiana and held pending extradition by the US Marshall’s Office for attempted murder.
Canizalez-Estrada is facing attempted murder charges in connection with the stabbing of his ex-girlfriend 14 times around 12:34 AM on July 27, 2022, police say.
The woman was found in the 6100 block of Orangethorpe Avenue and rushed to a hospital in critical condition, police added.
Canizalez-Estrada had fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
