09.22.2024 | 2:24 AM | ANAHEIM – A wrong-way driver who collided with another vehicle and began walking in lanes was killed, early Sunday morning.
Callers reported that a wrong-way driver collided with another vehicle on the southbound SR-241 Freeway south of the SR-91 Freeway around 2:24 AM.
Following the initial crash the driver of the wrong-way vehicle reportedly exited her vehicle and was struck and killed by another vehicle.
A third vehicle also sustained damage in the cluster of collisions though the exact sequence of events was unclear.
An alcoholic beverage was seen near a debris field from the collision though it was too early to tell whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
No other injuries were immediately reported and all southbound lanes of the SR-241 Freeway were closed at the SR-91 Freeway while authorities investigated the deadly collision.
