Anaheim: Suspect Arrested After Reported Stabbing Inside Hooters

04.21.2021 | 8:50 PM | ANAHEIM – A man who reportedly stabbed another person inside a Hooter’s was taken into custody by police, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing at the Hooters of Anaheim, located in the 2400 block of East Katella Avenue, around 8:50 PM.

When officers arrived on scene they learned that an altercation had occurred leaving one man with minor lacerations, police said.

The suspect reportedly fled the location in a white Volkswagen SUV and was later stopped by police near the intersection of West Taft Avenue and North Main Street in the city of Orange.

Video from the scene shows a man believed to be the suspect being placed into the back of a patrol vehicle.

It was not immediately clear what led to the stabbing incident but police are still continuing their investigation.
