01.25.2022 | 12:41 AM | ANAHEIM – A second-alarm fire scorched a garage and sent smoke billowing into apartments above, early Tuesday morning.
Multiple callers reported seeing smoke and fire coming from an apartment building in the 300 block of West Guinida Lane around 12:41 AM.
When crews arrived on scene and located heavy smoke and fire coming from a garages on the first-floor of a two-story apartment building.
Firefighters worked to quickly extinguish the extinguish the flames before they could spread to the apartments above although smoke still filled the residences.
One person was being evaluated for smoke inhalation but no other injuries were immediately reported.
At least four adults and seven children were reportedly displaced as a result of the fire.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze but radio traffic indicated the fire may be the related to an ongoing neighbor dispute.
