01.18.2026 | 1:23 AM | ANAHEIM – A pursuit ended with a crash involving a Westminster police K-9 patrol vehicle, early Sunday morning.
The incident began to unfold around 1:00 AM when Westminster police attempted to stop a driver in connection with a vehicle code violation.
The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a brief pursuit that ended near South Beach Boulevard and West Ball Road when a K-9 patrol vehicle collided with an uninvolved vehicle.
One person from the collision sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The suspect being chased was eventually apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
