03.24.2022 | 4:00 PM | ANAHEIM – Police are seeking public assistance after a library employee was injured in an unprovoked attack, police announced Thursday.
The assault, which was captured on surveillance video, occurred at the Anaheim Central Library, located in the 500 block of West Broadway, around 6:15 PM on Mar. 3, 2022.
Video shows a suspect walk into the path of the victim before striking him. The victim then falls to the floor, reportedly losing consciousness in the process.
The victim’s injuries required treatment at a local hospital although the extent of his injuries were not immediately disclosed.
The suspect, described as a light skinned black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, tall, with a thin muscular build, about 200 pounds with short hair or possibly bald, and a mustache, fled the scene. He was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light brown pants, white shoes, and a Dodgers baseball cap.
