Anaheim: Police Arrest Man In Connection With Double Murder

04.19.2022 | 10:50 PM | ANAHEIM – A man with injuries found near an apartment with two men dead inside was arrested hours after the murder, police announced Tuesday.

Ramy Fahim, 26, of Irvine, was arrested in connection with the early morning murder of two men inside an apartment complex near Angel Stadium.

The victims and Fahim were found by officers responding to reports of an assault at an apartment complex located in the 2100 block of East Katella Avenue around 6:30 AM.

Fahim, who sustained minor injuries, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment before being booked by officers.

A knife believed to have been used in the homicides was recovered at the scene.

The victims, identified as 23-year-old Jonathan Andrew Bahm, and 23-year-old Robert Cuomo, both of Anaheim, were residents of the apartment where homicide occurred.

Detectives say Fahim and Cuomo were coworkers but declined to provide further details regarding a potential motive.

Fahim was being held in the Anaheim City Jail without bail pending his next court appearance.
