07.19.2023 | 12:15 AM | ANAHEIM – A man who rear-ended another vehicle before rolling down an embankment into a riverbed was freed by firefighters, early Wednesday morning.
The collision involving a silver Infiniti that rear-ended a black Infiniti on the westbound SR-91 Freeway near Imperial Highway was reported around 12:15 AM.
It took authorities about 30 minutes to locate the silver Infiniti about 50 feet down an embankment into a riverbed. The male driver of the vehicle was trapped inside.
Firefighters used hydraulic spreaders to free the driver from the overturned vehicle in a process that lasted about 15 minutes.
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the black Infiniti was apparently uninjured.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation.
