Anaheim: Man Freed By Firefighters Following Entrapment Crash

03.24.2023 | 11:53 PM | ANAHEIM – A man who became trapped in his vehicle following a two-car crash was freed by firefighters and rushed to a hospital, late Friday night.

The two-car crash involving a Toyota Prius and a Toyota Tacoma was reported at the intersection of South Anaheim Boulevard and West Vermont Avenue around 11:53 PM.

When units arrived they located the driver of the Prius trapped in the wreckage and began efforts to extricate him.

Within 15 minutes firefighters freed the trapped driver of the Prius and rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Tacoma declined medical attention.

The cause of the crash is under investigation but drugs nor alcohol appeared to be factors.
