Anaheim: Man Dies After Being Struck By Hit & Run Driver In 7-Eleven Parking Lot

08.14.2021 | 12:38 AM | ANAHEIM – A man was dead after being struck by the driver of a vehicle that later fled, early Saturday morning.

The incident was reported as a traffic collision in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven Gas Station, located in the 100 block of West Ball Road, around 12:38 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a head injury and transported him to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The driver that struck the pedestrian reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

A radio broadcast identified the suspect’s vehicle as a black Lincoln Navigator but police would not confirm that information.

Video shows a cordless drill and a butane lighter among other items scattered within the crime scene.
