07.05.2022 | 4:15 PM | ANAHEIM – A homicide investigation is underway after a 42-year-old man was found dead at a park, Tuesday morning.
Police said Michael Anthony Garcia, 42, of Anaheim, was found unresponsive in Ponderosa Park, located in the 300 block of East Orangewood Avenue, around 7:00 AM.
Officials later pronounced the Garcia deceased at the scene and noted signs of trauma prompting a homicide investigation.
Garcia is believed to be a transient that frequented the area, police added.
No suspect description or motive was immediately available but anyone with information was urged to contact police at (714) 765-1900.
