Anaheim: Hit & Run Crash Traps Passenger

08.11.2023 | 9:44 PM | ANAHEIM – A passenger became trapped in a vehicle while the driver fled on foot after nearly striking a home, Friday night.

The collision was reported near the intersection of East South Street and South State College Boulevard around 9:44 PM.

When crews arrived they located a black 2008 Acura TL that careened between a home and into a alleyway, trapping a male passenger.

The apparent driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot but was later located by police.

Firefighters worked to free the trapped passenger in an extrication that lasted about 15 minutes.

Both the driver and passenger were transported to area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately available.
