Anaheim: Fourth Suspect Arrested In Connection With Murder

04.13.2022 | 5:00 AM | ANAHEIM – The fourth suspect in a 2020 gang-related shooting that left one man dead and another wounded was arrested, early Wednesday morning.

Miguel Urbina Pelaez, 21, of Fullerton, was taken into custody by homicide detectives in Sun Valley around 5:00 AM.

Pelaez was the latest to be arrested in connection with the shooting that left 28-year-old Edwin Richard Ramirez Hernandez dead.

Three other suspects, Jorge Nolasco, 28, Dominick Dakota, 28, and Gilbert Sanchez, 28, all Fullerton residents, were arrested in April 2021.

The arrests stem from the fatal shooting of Hernandez, near West Bellevue Drive and South Citron Street on Aug. 15, 2020. The shooting that occurred shortly after midnight also injured another man.

Police believe the shooting was gang-related.
