Anaheim: Fiery Crash Leaves One Dead

08.29.2021 | 3:05 AM | ANAHEIM – The driver of a vehicle that crashed and caught fire was pronounced deceased, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with one vehicle on fire near the intersection of South Knott and West Orange avenues around 3:05 AM.

When authorities arrived on scene they located one vehicle on fire with a victim outside of the vehicle in full traumatic arrest.

Firefighters doused the fire and attempted to revive the victim but later pronounced them deceased.

The entire intersection of of South Knott Avenue and West Orange Avenue was closed until further notice while police investigated.

The identity of the decedent was not immediately available.
