Anaheim: Driver Crashes Into Ambulance Leaving Hospital

05.28.2023 | 2:14 AM | ANAHEIM – An ambulance was rear-ended while leaving a hospital but no injuries were reported, early Sunday morning.

Anaheim Fire & Rescue Department’s Ambulance 3 reported being rear-ended while departing Anaheim Regional Medical Center, located at 1111 West La Palma Avenue, around 2:14 AM.

Authorities responding to the scene discovered that a black Acura sedan had collided with the ambulance’s rear bumper before losing control and coming to rest on a sidewalk.

No injuries were reported and drugs or alcohol were not believed to have played a role.

Despite the apparently minor damage the ambulance is expected to be out of service for several days as a result of the crash.
