Anaheim: Crash Leaves One Dead, Stalls Freeway Traffic

07.21.2021 | 3:45 PM | ANAHEIM – One person was dead and another was rushed to a hospital after a rollover crash that stalled freeway traffic for hours, Wednesday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a crash involving a red Ford Mustang and a white Ford F-150 that had overturned on the westbound SR-91 Freeway just west of Imperial Highway around 3:45 PM.

When units arrive on scene they located two vehicles with major damage and three potential victims, according to radio traffic.

The occupant of the Ford Mustang was trapped in their vehicle and later pronounced deceased despite the efforts of first responders.

A second victim was rushed to an area hospital by ambulance while a third declined medical treatment.

Both FasTrak lanes along with three mainline lanes were closed causing traffic to stall for hours while officials worked to investigate the fatal crash.
