05.11.2022 | 6:30 PM | ANAHEIM – A homicide investigation is underway after authorities found a dead body in a field, police announced Wednesday.
The body was discovered in a field near the intersection of South Phoenix Club Drive and South Sanderson Avenue around 9:20 AM on Wednesday morning.
Based on apparent trauma to the body, homicide detectives and forensic personnel were requested to investigate the death.
Information regarding the identity of the victim or nature of their injuries were not being released, police added.
Photos released by police show the field with a concrete structure along with some manmade debris.
